What we think about Jesus matters, because our perception of him shapes everything that we do. Ultimately, a right understanding of Jesus is necessary to properly live out our faith. In this series, the book of Colossians will outline what we need to know in order to paint a clear and complete picture of Jesus — one who is not only savior of the world but also supreme over all creation. In light of who he is, we’ll see that no part of human existence remains untouched by Jesus’ rule. Therefore, we each must personally answer one fundamental question: Is Jesus merely part of your life, or is Jesus truly first and foremost?
