Seek Me and Live

In Amos 5, God gives Israel a simple invitation: “Seek me and live.” But Israel had been seeking life in success, security, and even religious activity rather than in God himself. Amos confronts their false confidence and empty worship, reminding us that being around God is not the same as being right with God. Ultimately, the gospel points us to Jesus — the one who doesn’t just make bad people better, but brings dead people to life.
